On Saturday I took a part on Šumičfest balloon festival in Bakovci, Slovenia. I was hoping for more spectacular photos from ballons in the air, but the sky wasn't so clear, so I took a lot of pictures of the beautiful green-yellow fields. On Sunday I took another balloon flight over my hometown Maribor, Slovenia. That was a real adventure with a lot of interesting photos. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
so very nice... this is where i live, seen from a hill... [link] i often see balloons flying over our countryside... seeing your beautiful photos makes me want to fly there myself and take pictures... i never wanted to, but your pictures give me the kick...
You really live in beautiful place and I am sure you would have fun to see it from balloon. I took 2 flights in 2 days and this decission was good, because I need some time to become familiar with the ballon in the air. I don't know the weather condition and wind in your area, here we can fly only in the early morning and late afternoon. Exception are only in the winter time. The flights aren't long and you can see a lot of intresting things and enjoy the view, but not necessary have an opportunity for taking good photos. I saw the pictures from flight over the Julian Alps, but the condition for such fligh are extremelly rare and in winter time and I also didn't have so much fun when we were higher then 1000m, so I think I will pass that pleasure.
ok... i never really cared about the balloons, but there are many underway, in summer quite often... and i think they travel quite long... and then it's a question of paying it... i'll see when i can afford that at all... but it really tickles me now, haha...
